Kaustubh Chakraborty rated it it was amazing Dec 16, Throughout numdrical book, particular attention is paid to the essential qualities of a numerical algorithm – stability, accuracy, reliability and efficiency. It contains a lot of analysos, but I do not feel it is well suited for a first course in Numerical Analysis at an undergraduate university. The text begins with a clear motivation for the study of numerical analysis based on real-world problems.
