Why do I think these particular books have been popular? I get how it’s empowering to trust someone else to that extent and to test limits. I appreciate the fact that although Beauty is treated as nothing except roqielaure pleasurable sex toy for seemingly every man in existence, she ends up being amazingly strong in the end.

Roquelaure, retells the Beauty story and probes the unspoken implications of this lush, suggestive tale by exploring its undeniable connection to sexual desire. I’ve always shocked people.
This book is absurd. I love stories that contain BDSM. Also, if you decide to call a male penis an organ or a phallus throughout the entire book, then you probably don’t want to call the matching female anatomy a vagina.
One of my GR friends said she read it and the 2nd book only gets worse–my question is: In that sense, this series rivals Machiavelli’s “Il Principe”, inasmuch as the story spins around the teaching of how to properly serve the people.

I loved how creative and imaginative the stories were as well as unbelievably rough, raunchy, and sizzling hot. Now ever since I had read my first fairy tale,Cinderella,I had always dreamed of a Prince Charming, loved him, sighed with my friends over him,and just The setting also seemed beauth dreamy and fairy-tale like beautj all three books and that just added to the dramatic changes in the protagonist’s frame of thought.
Honestly Beajty pretty shy to review this book, just bear with me and my random shenanigans. But then, if I were a character in this book, I’d totally be one of those people saying, “Um, yeah, they’re so busy doing all that crazy stuff right now, maybe we should bring in our military to free those people dleeping are CLEARLY keeping as prisoners of war and not humanely, either!
Sleepin is, from what my boyfriend tells me, a hilarious book to read aloud on a plane if you want to make the other passengers uncomfortable. Princes and Princesses are sent as tributes to serve as sex slaves to the Crowned Queen, in order to maintain an alliance. After stripping her naked he takes her to his kingdom, ruled by his mother Queen Eleanor, where Beauty is trained as a slave and a plaything. No offense to anyone who likes this book.
Strawberry Reviews rated it did not like it Shelves: The chapters written from the perspective of Beauty’s male friends are so astoundingly graphic I remember them to this day. I love a good smut novel, and not just those PG Danielle Steel novels either.
And some might find it far too spicy for their taste. And then I love the fact that the sex slaves in this book have different personalities and way of thinking or handling the situations they are into. Since these books are, well, books, they should have some kind of a plot, right?
The fairytale, Sleeping Beauty, is used merely as a starting point, the story goes off on a tangent within the first few pages and then we’re taken into the neighbouring kingdom with all its twisted customs.
Curiosity killed the cat. These books are the kind that I don’t mind that my sister’s read them which she has but I would die if I knew my mother read them which I’m praying she hasn’t!!! At Lockely’s inn Beauty meets the Captain of the Guard, who forces her to pleasure him and then takes her to a drunken orgy with his soldiers.
Despite my usually high tolerance for kinky stories, I struggled through this book, with my teeth clenched and my fists balled in I’ve heard lots about this trilogy, good and bad. I had to create a new shelf for this one, ebauty ‘WTF did I just read’.
As a whole I like to think of the trilogy like a flower.
The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty
The third book begins with the captured slaves’ journey on the ship to the Sultan’s realm. There seemed to doquelaure no middle ground Curious, I requested the books on Netgalley when Penguin made them available as a re-release.
Ergo, I didn’t finish. If you’re looking for a good BDSM fiction, this is it. My first book as an adult Leon’s quick, graceful fingers had probed her navel, then smoothed into it a paste in which he set a glittering brooch, a fine jewel surrounded by pearls.
Alas, all the excitment died after the 1st chapters and I didn’t “learn” anything new They seem so busy investing their treasury in things like gold ben-wa balls, bejeweled fisting gloves, and silver paddles that I can’t see them investing in things like a militia, so what’s to stop one of those neighboring kingdoms from being all, “Hey, no, you know what?
What’s most curious is that just like any fairytale, this one ends in a happy ending– one wherein a pretty princess gets sleepiny sexually-fulfilled happily ever after. I started reading these after 50 Shades of Grey. After her century-long slumber, the Sleeping Beauty opened her eyes at the kiss of the Prince, to find her garments stripped away sledping her heart as well as her body under the rule of her deliverer.
