This was definitely one of those reads that once you started you will not want to put it down until the end. Divorced, Desperate and Deceived. I liked this book.
The constant tug-of-war was fun to read about but the scene with the tug-of-war in the literal sense had me throwing my head back and laughing till i was red. Divorced, Desperate and Dead.

But Macy is determined to not get involved. I love Christie’s character development, action, and humor. Oh well, it seems to be a requirement in romance stories now. Would you like us to take another look at this review?
I found the read a fast paced read with a lot of characters that were simply off the chart well developed in helping produce a well written story. Macy vraig Jake both have trust issues, grandmother is a trip and mom is a sad little lady. So she has been extra careful in helping her mom raise her younger brother so he could grow up to be a dependable man in spite of his family members.

It took me I really wanted to cralg this book more but I found myself getting a bit bored with the story. It was funny and romantic and everything else it promised to be. But when he persists, Macy lets loose and stops speaking female code for tampons, periods and the whole works, lets Jake have it chrisyie force, which leaves him floundering and blushing.
Jake starts out focused on recapturing Tanks, his nemesis, but soon begins to feel very protective towards Macy. Craig kept mentioning that Macy was having her period. I loved how all characters get connected to one another. Jake too has a past that has left its mark on him, making him wary of love and me all the more eager to see him find it with Macy.
Or, get it for Kobo Super Points! I like this book as well but it was just missing things.
