I call it the “poor man’s Eventide” because it lets you literally define your own algorithms to make sounds. Will I lose my presets after installing the 2. A reverb should allow for clearity and placement of the sound in the sound field. Which was not nothing. Most of the tsrr and algorithms are complex but if all you dgiitech is a chorus and a reverb, there’s probably already a preset or algorithm in there you can tweak.

In stereo it was colossal. I would go for a lexicon Mpx-1 over the tsr Again, the parameters for every effect were very minimal here too.

The audio quality is good to pretty good, and the noise generated is pretty low if it’s set up correctly remember this thing’s 20 years old.

No, because it’s not necessary to execute a hard reset. The reverbs tend to be bright, but not in the metallic way of some Japanese processors, offering clarity and realism instead. I’ve had both and the tsr24 is way long in the tooth. Digitecu and Distortion a little louder with some delay for leads. It’s hard to beat a good tube amp. The upgrade comes with a very detailed installation manual! As I recently discovered, there is a significant lag when switching patches which the 2nd processor 24d fixes.

DigiTech TSR User Review by Michael Willis

The two units share practically the same digital engine. We’ve added some “new” guys to the moderator crew.

To make the link between Controller and parameter, select a parameter, press the MIDI button, and the link is made. I wanted an effects processor that had the ability to chain redundant effects like 2 Choruses or a Phaser and Flange, etc.

diyitech Where can I download the user manual for the TSR? I rely on my tube amp. Now choose which Controller will do the controlling, its operating range, and that’s it.

If you just want to run a phaser and a delay or a chorus and a reverb, you don’t even have to mess with algorithms and linking. MetalGuitardDec 2, The TSRS is no exception: All effects are easy to edit independently of each other.

I have an ADA MP-1, so I’m tsrr on that department for now I want a processor that can get me from the heavenly sounds of Gilmour, to anything that is needed for a Rush cover, then to Cathedral and then to a Satch whammy Since I have an extensive amount of equipment I would not need to replace it, but if it was my only digital processor I would most likely spend a little more money and buy a Lexicon MPX-1 which has very a very good user interface and an excellent footcontroller.

Execute a hard reset. You simply alter an instrument’s tuning until the strobing vertical bars at the bottom of the LCD stop moving – the tuner automatically detects which note you’re trying to tune. I have a TSR s that won’t start up, the backlit display comes on but shows nothing, the LED display says “” as ddigitech all lit up and a few of the level lights stay on.

Thumbs up, if you’re brave! If this is the reverb I like the most, for its part “Giga”, other classical effects are largely up to it. Took LOTS of tweaking. I have a EHX Hazarai pedal that’ll do looping, ring mod and reverse delay should I ever care to experiment with them. Programming the TSRS is, in spite of the manual, relatively simple.
