Robbuns is easy to learbing with some humour on the side. The book doesn’t have major flaws, for some readers maybe additional information could be given about integration of social media into websites and more information about jQuery would be welcome, but in my opinion for those interested there are many books on the market few of them I already reviewed – JavaScript: Paperbackpages. jenniefr I also learned CSS a little bit later in the same way. I don’t believe something can be learned from the books, you need to do something from the start one. A bit dry at times but great introduction into front end web design.

Learning Web Design: A Beginner’s Guide to Html, Css, Javascript, and Web Graphics

This friendly guide is the perfect place to start. Well, looking at the cover I had expected to learn something beautiful, but examples are somewhat early s style. Where this book excels is with the introduction of new HTML tags and CSS rules with useful information about browser support and techniques that allow older browsers to benefit from the features of newer language code. Just looked into Bootstrap 1, somewhat also looks ugly just after 4 years. Covers all clearly and with good detail and resources.


You will have to open your text editor along with your browser to practice what you learned and make mistakes. Sproget er levende og til tider humoristisk. This was recommended by a student I knew! I like books with exercises, it enables you to test what you learned in real world projects. The author intended to graphically show her ideas, to show how to implement them weg she did it successfully. Reading the book alone is jenniter enough.

So, the best learning style is simple – doing shit.
